Steel Executives Association (SEA) Submits Key Representations to Government Offices
Key issues appraised by the SEA team included executive promotions, increasing gratuity from ₹20 lakh to ₹25 lakh, the merger of Steel PSUs, and RINL-specific matters

Steel Executives Association (SEA) leaders, including General Secretary K.V.D. Prasad, President Katam S.S. Chandra Rao, and Vice President T. Srinivasa Rao, recently submitted representations regarding promotions and payment of wage balance to the Secretary (Steel) and Joint Secretary (Steel) at Udyog Bhavan. The matters were duly appraised with the concerned officers in the Secretary (Steel) office.
The SEA team also presented representations on plant and executive-related issues to the offices of the Union Cabinet Minister for Steel, H.D. Kumaraswamy, and the Union Minister of State for Steel, B. Srinivasa Varma.

In addition, representations requesting the re-issuance of Demand Letters for RINL employees were submitted to the office of the Union Cabinet Minister for Labour, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, and the office of the Central Employees Provident Fund Commissioner.

Furthermore, the SEA team met with the Honorable former Rajya Sabha member, G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, requesting his support to follow up on RINL executive promotions with the Steel Ministry and the issue of re-issuance of demand letters for around 1,100 RINL employees, which affects timely contribution for higher pension under the Labour Ministry and EPFO. G.V.L. Narasimha Rao acknowledged the issues and assured to take them up with the concerned ministries.
