SECI Crosses 60 GW Milestone In Power Sale Agreements, Boosting India’s Clean Energy Goals
These Power Sale Agreements span a robust mix of solar, wind and hybrid energy initiatives

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), a Navratna CPSU under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, has achieved a significant milestone by executing over 60 Gigawatts (GW) of Power Sale Agreements (PSAs) for renewable energy projects across the country.
These PSAs span a robust mix of solar, wind, and hybrid energy initiatives, providing long-term power purchase assurances that enhance payment security for developers and encourage sustained investment in India’s renewable energy sector.
SECI Chairman & Managing Director Santosh Kumar Sarangi called this achievement a “pivotal moment” in SECI’s 14-year journey, reaffirming the organization’s central role in advancing India’s clean energy transformation.
Looking ahead, SECI will prioritize energy storage systems, development of green hydrogen and ammonia, supply chain optimization, and innovative power delivery models to bolster India’s path toward a low-carbon future and climate commitments.
This milestone underlines the growing confidence in renewable energy adoption and signals strong momentum toward achieving India’s ambitious energy transition targets.
