PESB Selects Shailesh Vagerwal as Next CMD of Bharat Dynamics Limited
In all 9 candidates appeared for the interview for the top post
Public sector headhunter Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shailesh Vagerwal for the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL).
Vagerwal is currently serving as Chief General Manager at Munitions India Limited (MIL) and brings with him extensive experience in defence production, project execution, and strategic management within the public sector ecosystem.
A total of seven candidates appeared before PESB for the selection process for the top post. After detailed interaction and assessment of professional experience, leadership capabilities, and sectoral expertise, the Board recommended Vagerwal’s name for appointment.
The final appointment will be subject to approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
