SLBC-Delhi Holds 120th Quarterly Meeting; Focus on Saturation Campaign for Financial Inclusion and Bank Performance Review

SLBC-Delhi calls for coordinated efforts to boost financial inclusion and meet Annual Credit Plan targets

The 120th quarterly meeting of the State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) – Delhi was held on August 14, 2025, chaired by D. Surendran, Executive Director, Punjab National Bank. The meeting was attended by key dignitaries including Rohit P. Das, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India; S. S. Parihar, IAS, Special Secretary (Finance), GNCTD; Parveen Goyal, Chief General Manager, PNB; Natarajan Ramachandran, General Manager, SIDBI; Aditi Gupta, DGM, RBI; Rajesh Kumar, General Manager & Convener-SLBC-Delhi; Mukesh Sethi, DGM-SLBC-Delhi; along with representatives from member banks, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, GNCTD, and Lead District Managers (LDMs).

The meeting’s agenda included a detailed review of the three-month saturation campaign for Financial Inclusion schemes, evaluation of performance under key government initiatives such as PM Surya Ghar Yojana, PM Vishwakarma, PM MUDRA Yojana (PMMY), and assessment of banks’ Q1 achievements against the Annual Credit Plan targets.

Dignitaries urged member banks and LDMs to actively contribute to the saturation campaign launched by the Ministry of Finance.

The campaign’s focus areas include:

  • Opening PM Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) accounts
  • Enrolments under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), PM Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY)
  • Completion of re-KYC and nomination formalities
  • Spreading awareness about digital frauds

The committee emphasized coordinated efforts to achieve 100% coverage in these schemes, reinforcing the government’s vision of universal financial inclusion.
