SLBC-Delhi Organizes Mega Financial Inclusion Scheme Saturation Camp in Shalimar Bagh

Over 400 participants attend; focus on PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY, Re-KYC, and digital fraud awareness

A Mega Financial Inclusion (FI) Scheme Saturation Camp was organized by the State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC)-Delhi in Shalimar Bagh, North-West District of NCT of Delhi.

The camp was chaired by D. Surendran, Executive Director, Punjab National Bank, and attended by distinguished dignitaries including Rohit P. Das, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India; Rajesh Kumar, General Manager & Convener, SLBC-Delhi; Garima Kapoor, ISS, Deputy Secretary, Department of Financial Services; Soumya Saurabh, IAS, District Magistrate, North West District; Nabin Kumar Roy, General Manager, NABARD; and Mukesh Sethi, Deputy General Manager, SLBC-Delhi.

The event witnessed participation of over 400 attendees, including Self-Help Groups (SHGs), NGOs, district administration officials, member banks and LDMs, state government representatives, as well as officials from PFRDA, NABARD, and the Department of Financial Services.

The dignitaries emphasized the importance of social security schemes such as PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY, along with Re-KYC compliance, account nomination, and awareness against digital frauds. A special session was conducted by Ruby Bhaosagar, Assistant General Manager, PFRDA, who delivered a detailed presentation on the Atal Pension Yojana (APY).

Participants also visited stalls set up by member banks and showed keen interest in the various social security and financial inclusion schemes. On this occasion, cheques under PMJJBY and PMSBY were presented to nominees as part of claim settlements.

The wide participation and successful execution of the camp were lauded by all stakeholders. SLBC-Delhi reaffirmed its leadership role in driving financial inclusion by actively organizing such camps in coordination with the LDMs of all 11 districts of NCT of Delhi.
