The 15th Biennial International Conference & Exposition of the Society of Petroleum Geophysicists (SPG) will be held from 26 to 28 October 2025 at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre and Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC).
With the theme “Rock to Cloud: Geo-Exploration Empowering Energy Evolution,” the event comes at a crucial juncture as India accelerates deepwater exploration and expands its search for new hydrocarbon frontiers to ensure long-term energy security.

SPG 2025 will provide a premier global platform for deliberation on cutting-edge geophysical technologies, data-driven exploration, and digital innovations that are redefining the exploration landscape and strengthening India’s energy self-reliance.
The event will attract over 700 delegates from more than 10 countries, including leading scientists, academicians, technologists, and energy professionals representing global E&P majors, technology innovators, and service providers.
The technical programme will span the entire exploration value chain — from Seismic Acquisition, Imaging, and Reservoir Characterisation to Digital Geophysics, Cloud Data Analytics, and AI-driven Subsurface Modelling. Key sessions will focus on deepwater exploration case studies, advancements in seismic processing, and emerging geoscientific research shaping the next era of energy exploration.
The SPG 2025 Exhibition will function as a live technology showcase, featuring AI-powered interpretation tools, cloud-based data ecosystems, and high-performance computing platforms designed to accelerate exploration workflows and enhance prediction accuracy.
Complementing the technical sessions, the event will also include a Geoscience Career Symposium, connecting top energy firms with upcoming talent, and a Business Programme fostering collaboration between industry and technology leaders.
