The All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC), West Bengal State Unit, has organized a press meet on Monday, 22nd September, at 4:00 PM at the Bowbazar BOI Officers’ Association office in response to the termination of the General Secretary, President, and four other leaders of the union by Standard Chartered Bank under the pretext of redundancy.

Sanjay Das, Former State Secretary and Senior Vice President of AIBOC and current Chairman of the Federation of BOI Officers’ Association, described this move as a heinous, arbitrary, brutal, illegal, and vindictive act. He emphasized that it has caused total demoralization among bankers in the state, who are now fully agitated and determined to combat this attack by all means necessary.
