Treat Bank Employees At Par With Frontline Workers For Booster Dose

A large number of bank employees are also being affected due to the third wave of Corona epidemic across the country. Banks Branches are getting corona infected. Thousands of bank employees have been infected. Where state governments are implementing work from home for private and government employees, bank employees are forced to go to banks.

1) The government should give priority to the bank employees in the booster dose like frontline workers.

2) The instructions issued by the Indian Banks Association should be properly followed by the State Level Banking Committees. Many state level banking committees still do not limit banking hours in their state.

3) The instructions issued by the bank management should be properly followed at the branch level. Even after the entire branch is infected, the branch is not closed.

4) Corona infected employees are not being treated properly by the management of many banks and they are pressured to come to the bank.

Government, Indian Banks Association, bank managements should shown sensitivity towards bank employees.
