Union Bank Of India Wins Awards Under Ease 3.0 Reforms Index
Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman presented awards to top performing banks
Union Bank of India has received many awards in the Ease 3.0 Reform agenda index results for the fourth quarter of financial year. The results and awards were declared in the event organized by Indian Banking Association (IBA). Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman presented awards to top performing banks.
Union Bank of India secured awards in many categories. It was declared winner in the theme-wise awards of Governance & outcome-centric HR. Besides it was winner in the theme of Deepening Financial Inclusion & customer protection. The Union Bank of India was second runner up in theme-wise awards of Smart lending and Tech-enabled ease of banking. It was first runner-up in best improvement category for 47 per cent improvement over the baseline and second runner-up for the EASE Reforms Index Award 2021 for overall performance.
Among the exceptional performance and initiatives taken by the Union Bank of India are that it Implemented a scientific and digitalized Performance Management System with high APAR measurability levels for more than 95 per cent of Bank officers. It has also set up of IT-based HR Deployment Decision Support System with best in class features and functionalities for postings and transfers. Union Bank has been best bank on EASE cyber-security maturity framework.
