In a significant achievement, NTPC Barh has successfully completed the 72-hour Trial Operation of Unit #3 (660 MW) on June 5, 2025. The milestone was celebrated with pride and enthusiasm at the project site, as the unit demonstrated an impressive average load exceeding 660 MW throughout the trial period.

G. Srinivasa Rao, Executive Director, NTPC Barh, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all team members involved in the commissioning and operations, acknowledging their relentless efforts and dedication. “This is a proud moment for all of us at NTPC Barh. The successful trial run of Unit #3 showcases our team’s commitment, technical prowess, and unwavering focus on operational excellence,” he said.

The momentous occasion was also graced by senior officials including Srikant Kerhalkar, General Manager (Operations & Maintenance), A.K. Raza, General Manager (Maintenance & Fuel Management), and S.B. Singh, General Manager (Project), all of whom played crucial roles in steering the unit to this landmark achievement.
