Uttarakhand CM Orders Special Drive To Clear Long-Pending Complaints On CM Helpline 1905
First three districts in the state to become TB free will be honored

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed a special state-wide campaign to resolve all complaints pending for over 180 days on the CM Helpline 1905. Chairing a review meeting at the Secretariat, the CM expressed displeasure over the backlog and warned of strict action against officers responsible for undue delays.

He also instructed officials to avoid the practice of force-closing complaints and instead make CM Helpline a model grievance redressal system for the state.
In a move to strengthen public connect and service delivery, the Chief Minister ordered that Tehsil Diwas and Thana Diwas be held across all districts on the same day, with the CM himself expected to make a surprise visit to one of the districts. He also directed District Magistrates to regularly hold Janta Darshan and Tehsil Diwas for prompt resolution of local issues.
Highlighting infrastructure concerns, CM Dhami instructed immediate replacement of faulty electricity poles and transformers and ordered a state-wide safety audit of transformers. He emphasized addressing low voltage and hanging electric wires on priority.

Other key directives included:
- Accelerating work on making two villages in each district into Adarsh Grams, with nodal officers to be appointed soon.
- Resolving pendency in building map approvals.
- Honouring the first three districts to achieve TB-free status.
While praising departments such as Transport, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Excise, and Energy for their effective complaint redressal, the CM asked PWD, Geology & Mining, Revenue, Home, and Finance departments to speed up their response times.
More complaints are currently being received regarding drinking water supply, street light maintenance, Jal Jeevan Mission connections, power cuts, and electricity bills, he noted.
The CM also personally interacted with complainants to assess the status of their grievances. He directed swift redressal of unresolved cases, including one from Uttarkashi regarding a water pipeline.

Top state officials including Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, DGP Deepam Seth, and district magistrates attended the meeting, with many joining virtually.
