Vigilance Awareness Campaign-2025 Launched at Central Coalfields Limited (CCL)

CCL aims to reinforce a culture of vigilance and further its commitment to transparent governance and social responsibility

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) today launched its Vigilance Awareness Campaign-2025 at its headquarters. The program was presided over by Nilendu Kumar Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), CCL. The campaign will run from 18 August to 17 November 2025.

The inaugural event witnessed the presence of senior officials, including Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra, Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, General Managers and departmental heads from different regions. Regional General Managers also joined the proceedings through video conferencing.

Addressing the gathering, CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh emphasized that vigilance is not merely a process but an essential part of organizational work culture. He urged officers and employees to embed transparency and accountability in their work practices while ensuring effective implementation of the campaign.

The campaign will focus on:

  • Expedited resolution of pending complaints and cases
  • Capacity-building programs for employees
  • Improved asset management and digital initiatives for transparency
  • Outreach and social engagement activities, including awareness programs in schools and colleges, blood donation and health camps, tree plantation drives, workshops, sports competitions, and stakeholder seminars

The program concluded with the administration of the “Satyashta Ka Pledge” by all officers and employees, reaffirming their commitment to honesty, transparency, and ethical conduct.

Through this campaign, CCL aims to reinforce a culture of vigilance and further its commitment to transparent governance and social responsibility.
