X.com resumed services in India after a brief outage of about 40 minutes. Earlier, social media platform X.com, formerly known as Twitter, experienced a fresh outage on Monday evening, with users across India reporting that the homepage failed to load and timelines were not refreshing.
According to user complaints, the disruption began around 7:00 PM IST, leaving many unable to access posts, refresh feeds, or navigate the platform normally. Several users took to alternative social media platforms to report the issue.
Outage-tracking website Downdetector recorded a sudden spike in complaints during the same period, indicating a possible widespread server-side problem rather than isolated connectivity issues.
Users reported multiple problems, including blank timelines, slow loading pages, and temporary login failures. The outage appeared to affect both mobile applications and desktop users.
