CCL Bids Farewell To 99 Employees With Respect, Affection And Best Wishes

An emotional ‘Samman Samaroh’ organized at CCL Headquarters

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organized a grand “Samman Samaroh” at its headquarters today to bid an emotional farewell to 99 retiring employees, including 8 personnel from the headquarters. The ceremony was marked by gratitude, affection, and heartfelt memories shared by the retiring staff and their colleagues.

Among the prominent retirees were:

  • Mr. Alok Kumar Tripathi, General Manager (Environment), Forest Department
  • Mr. Krishna Jha, General Manager (Civil), Land & Revenue Department
  • Mr. Rajiv Ranjan Sharma, General Manager (Social Security), Social Security Department
  • Mr. Sushil Kumar Sinha, General Manager (Finance), Finance Department
  • Mr. Uttam Kumar Nayak, Senior Personal Assistant A-1, Purchase Department
  • Mr. Jitendra Kumar Choudhary, Office Superintendent, Gandhinagar Hospital
  • Mr. Anand Kumar, Senior Security Guard, Security Department
  • Mrs. Farhat Jahan, CAT-1, Accounts Establishment Department

The event was graced by CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) Chandra Shekhar Tiwari, General Managers, senior officers, employees, and family members of the retirees.

A short film chronicling the service journeys and experiences of the retiring employees was screened during the program. The retirees, in emotional testimonials, reminisced about their time at CCL, expressed deep gratitude to the organization, and extended their best wishes for its continued growth and success. The audience warmly acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the outgoing employees with standing ovations and heartfelt applause.

Speaking on the occasion, CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh said, “We extend our heartfelt best wishes to our 99 retiring colleagues. Their dedicated service has significantly contributed to the progress of CCL and the nation. The CCL family will always hold their contributions in high esteem.”

Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra and Director (Technical/Operations) Chandra Shekhar Tiwari also addressed the gathering, stating, “Our colleagues who are retiring today have played a vital role in CCL’s growth story. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment have taken the company to new heights. We wish them good health, happiness, and a fulfilling life ahead.”

Apart from the headquarters event, similar farewell ceremonies were also held across various CCL areas to honor retiring staff.

The ceremony was efficiently anchored by General Manager (Welfare) Rekha Pandey, who also delivered the vote of thanks. The Welfare Department, along with other departments, played a key role in the successful organization of the event. The program concluded with a moving cultural presentation specially curated by the Corporate Communications & Public Relations (CC&PR) Department.
