Focus on Critical Minerals & Coking Coal

During the meeting, CIL conveyed its interest in exploring partnerships in:

  • Acquisition and development of critical mineral assets
  • Coking coal resources essential for steel production
  • Collaboration in the mineral processing sector

The dialogue underscores CIL’s intent to diversify its portfolio beyond thermal coal and align with India’s long-term strategy of securing critical mineral supply chains.

Both sides also acknowledged the potential for cooperation in:
