GRSE Achieves Historic ‘Triple Delivery’, Hands Over Three Warships to Indian Navy
With the induction of these three platforms, GRSE has now built a total of 118 warships, including 80 delivered to the Indian Navy

In a landmark moment for India’s indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) has delivered three frontline naval platforms—Dunagiri, Sanshodhak, and Agray—to the Indian Navy in a single day.
This rare “triple delivery” marks a first-of-its-kind achievement in Indian shipbuilding and aligns strongly with the Government of India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision, showcasing the country’s growing self-reliance in complex warship construction.
Major Milestone in Indigenous Shipbuilding
With the induction of these three platforms, GRSE has now built a total of 118 warships, including 80 delivered to the Indian Navy, reinforcing its status as one of India’s premier defence shipyards.
The vessels were formally accepted on behalf of the Navy by senior officials, including Rear Admiral Gautam Marwah, VSM, and Commodore Shishir Dixit.
