IPL 2026: IGI Partners with Gujarat Titans as Official Certification Partner
The collaboration is part of IGI’s broader effort to enhance consumer awareness, transparency, and responsible decision-making in the jewellery sector

The International Gemological Institute (IGI) has partnered with Gujarat Titans as the Official Certification Partner for the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.
The collaboration is part of IGI’s broader effort to enhance consumer awareness, transparency, and responsible decision-making in the jewellery sector. By leveraging the scale and popularity of Gujarat Titans, IGI aims to make diamond certification more accessible and relevant to a wider audience.
Tehmasp Printer, Global CEO of IGI, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to precision and trust. Drawing a parallel with cricket’s Decision Review System (DRS), he noted that IGI applies similar standards of independent verification to every diamond it certifies. He highlighted that the globally recognised 4Cs—Cut, Clarity, Carat, and Colour—form the foundation of IGI’s work, ensuring transparency and reliability in diamond evaluation.
“Gujarat Titans embody discipline, consistency, and excellence—values that resonate strongly with IGI. Through this association, we aim to expand our reach and reinforce the importance of informed and confident decision-making when purchasing diamonds and precious gemstones,” he said.
Colonel Arvinder Singh, COO of Gujarat Titans, welcomed the partnership, stating that Gujarat’s legacy of craftsmanship and precision aligns naturally with IGI’s expertise. “At Gujarat Titans, we collaborate with organisations that stand for trust, integrity, and consistency. This partnership strengthens our commitment to building a purpose-driven, high-performance ecosystem around the team,” he added.
As part of the association, IGI’s logo will feature on the Gujarat Titans’ team jersey throughout the season.
