IIM Jammu Concludes Young Officer Development Program for NHPC – Batch II with Valedictory Ceremony

The Indian Institute of Management Jammu successfully concluded the Young Officer Development Program – NHPC (Batch II), a specially curated capacity-building initiative for officers of NHPC Limited, a Government of India’s Navratna Public Sector Undertaking.
The valedictory ceremony was held at the Yoga Classroom of the Vedanta MDP Centre at IIM Jammu, marking the successful completion of the executive learning programme aimed at strengthening managerial and leadership capabilities among young professionals.
The programme was designed to enhance managerial competence, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, aligning with the evolving requirements of India’s rapidly expanding power and infrastructure sector.
Dr. Lalit Pankaj, Programme Director, welcomed the distinguished guests and participants and presented a detailed report outlining the programme’s key learning modules, experiential sessions, and interactive discussions. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and leadership development in strengthening public sector enterprises.
Participants shared reflections on their learning journey, highlighting the academic rigor, practical insights, and interactive pedagogy adopted during the programme. Many described the initiative as a valuable platform for professional growth and knowledge enhancement.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Brig. Retd.) Neeraj Kumar Soni, Co-chairperson, Anandam, encouraged participants to combine managerial excellence with ethical leadership and value-driven decision-making in their professional roles.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants, formally recognizing their successful completion of the programme.
Dr. Guangpuanang Kahmei, Programme Director, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to NHPC, faculty members, and participants for their active engagement and contribution to the programme’s success.
The event concluded with the National Anthem. The successful completion of the Young Officer Development Program further reinforces IIM Jammu’s commitment to executive education and its role in nurturing competent, responsible, and forward-looking leaders contributing to nation-building.
