NTPC Bongaigaon Wins Apex India Safety, Quality & HR Awards 2025
Honoured at the Apex India National Summit in Udaipur, the station’s achievement highlights its excellence in safety culture, quality systems and people-centric development
NTPC Bongaigaon has been honoured with the Apex India Safety, Quality & HR Awards 2025, reaffirming the station’s commitment to industry-leading standards in safety, quality management and people development.
The awards were presented at the Apex India National Summit on Safety, Quality & HR Leadership in Udaipur. Rajeev Ranjan, AGM (Safety), NTPC Bongaigaon, received the award from Princess Jahnavi Kumari Mewar, 77th generation of the Royal Lineage; Major General (Retd.) P.K. Saighal, Defence Expert & TEDx Speaker; and Dr. Avneesh Singh, Retired Director General, DGFASLI.
The Guests of Honour addressed the gathering and shared deep insights on leadership, evolving safety culture, and the future of quality and HR frameworks in Indian industry.
The summit, themed “Moving Together Towards Sustainable OHS & Quality Practices — Addressing Challenges through Responsibility & Stewardship,” featured high-impact panel discussions with domain experts. More than 180 organisations, including ONGC, GAIL, Ultratech Cement, DLF Limited, Adani Limited, Godrej Properties Ltd., Dorfketal and NTPC Limited, were recognised for their commitment to Safety, Quality and HR excellence.
Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, congratulated the Safety and HR teams for strengthening workplace safety, enhancing process quality and fostering a people-centric organisational culture. He appreciated their dedication to advancing operational excellence across the station.
