NTPC Vindhyachal Hosts Vibrant Station-Level Professional Circle Convention Showcasing Innovation and Impact

NTPC Vindhyachal successfully organized its Station-Level Professional Circle (PC) Convention on January 19, 2026, reaffirming a strong culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional excellence among executives.
The convention was conducted under the guidance and encouragement of Sanjib Kumar Saha, CGM (Vindhyachal), whose sustained leadership and support have been instrumental in strengthening the Professional Circle movement at the station.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 18 teams, reflecting enhanced inter-departmental collaboration and engagement. The convention featured high-quality presentations that offered practical insights and innovative solutions with strong potential for organizational learning and replication.
Following a detailed evaluation by an esteemed panel of judges— M. Suresh, GM (Maintenance & ADM); Debabrata Tripathy, GM (TS); and Sunil Mishra, Head of EEMG, Sasan—the top three Professional Circles were announced.
First Prize was awarded to Team “Sustainability”, comprising Vijay Kumar, DGM (Green Chemicals); Ram Sewak Jaiswal, DGM (EEMG); and Dr. Vipin Kumar Upadhyay, Manager (Chemistry).
Second Prize went to Team “Pahal”, comprising Abhishek Jain, Sr. Manager (EMD); Dinesh Prabhu R, Sr. Manager (EMD); and Saurabh Kushwaha, Sr. Manager (EMD).
Third Prize was secured by Team “Nirantar”, comprising Sadanand Dongare, Sr. Manager (P&S); Vandana Kumari, Sr. Manager (FES); and Anam Khan, Officer (HR).
Such knowledge-sharing initiatives foster stronger collaboration, nurture a culture of continual improvement, and reinforce alignment with the station’s Business Excellence (BE) initiatives, contributing meaningfully to the achievement of NTPC Vindhyachal’s larger organizational objectives.
