Container Corporation of India has appointed Rahul Agarwal as a Part-Time Government Director on its Board. With over 30 years of experience in the Indian Railways, his appointment is expected to bring significant strategic advantages to the company.
Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) announced the appointment of Rahul Agarwal as Part-Time Government Director on its Board, effective from March 19, 2026.
Rahul Agarwal is a 1992-batch Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer and is currently serving as Principal Executive Director (Traffic Transportation) at the Railway Board under the Ministry of Railways.
Leadership Change on the Board
Following orders from the Ministry of Railways, CONCOR confirmed the appointment. Rahul Agarwal replaces Prabhas Dansana in this role.
The company’s Board of Directors has formally approved the appointment.

Rahul Agarwal brings more than three decades of experience in Indian Railways. In his current role, he plays a crucial part in overseeing national freight policies and operations across the railway network.

- Principal Chief Operations Manager, South East Central Railway
- Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru Division, South Western Railway
He has also contributed significantly across multiple zones, including South Eastern, Northern, and North Central Railways, particularly in train operations, commercial strategy, and safety management.
