Vigilance Awareness Week inaugurated at CCL Headquarters

CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh administers Integrity Pledge; Vigilance Awareness Chariot flagged off to promote honesty and transparency

As per the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed at Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) from October 27 to November 2, 2025.

The inaugural ceremony was held at the CCL Headquarters, where Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) Nilendu Kumar Singh administered the Integrity Pledge to all present. The event was attended by Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director Technical (Operations) C.S. Tiwari, Director Technical (Planning & Projects) Shankar Nagachari, and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Pankaj Kumar.

As part of the occasion, an e-Pledge booth was inaugurated and the Vigilance Awareness Chariot was flagged off. The chariot will visit various operational areas to spread awareness among employees and the general public about the core values of honesty, transparency, and integrity.

During the week-long campaign, the Vigilance Department of CCL will organize multiple activities, including essay writing, debates, quizzes, slogan writing, and poster competitions to strengthen the spirit of ethical conduct among employees, students, and stakeholders.

CCL reiterated its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical governance in all its operations.
