Van Mahotsav celebrated At RINL With Jan Bhagidari
Plantation of 700 Conocarpus saplings along the Pragati Maidan Road of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant leading to AIMTZ, today
Van Mahotsav was celebrated with Jan Bhagidari (Community participation) to create the environment awareness and importance of greenery in our day-to-day life style.
The program was coordinated by the Agro-forestry section of Town Administration Department of RINL.
The Avenue plantation was led by Shri G. Gandhi, CGM (HR) in the august presence of HOD, Town administration department, HOD, Learning and Development centre, officials from Agro-Forestry, other departments, members from WIPS and a large number of devotees both men and women from Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations Vizag district.
Shri PRSN Naidu, district president, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Vizag district, Senior office bearers and a large number of devotees (both men & women) from Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi and Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Visakhapatnam district have actively participated in the tree plantation drive and planted about 500 saplings along with employees and women employees of RINL through WIPS(Forum for Women in Public Sector).
Shri G Gandhi CGM(HR) RINL has appreciated the plantation initiative by Agro-forestry section of Town Administration Department of RINL in creating environment awareness among common people and preserving the greenery.
Yet another such mass tree plantation drive was taken up today at the sprawling Pragathi Maidan of RINL today.
