Director (Commercial) RINL Flags Off ‘Prabhat Pheri’ At Ukkunagaram

Special Campaign 3.0 was given a boost today at Ukku stadium by conducting “Prabhat pheri”, morning walk/Run. ‘Prabhat Pheri’, which literally means ‘early morning rounds’, is a tradition or a ritual lost in the façade of modernization.

As part of the Prabhat Pheri ” walkathon/marathon were organised today morning 6:30 am at Ukku stadium. The 3.0 K.m.Run/walkathon started from sports complex of Ukku stadium of RINL and ended again at Ukku Stadium after going via Sector-6 shopping complex & Thrishna grounds of ukkunagaram township covering approximate a distance of 3km. The Prabhat Pheri was an initiative by CSR department and was Coordinated by the RINL sports department.

Shri D.K.Mohanty, Director (Commercial), RINL flagged of the event at Ukku stadium and also participated in the walkathon along with Dr. K. H. Prakash , CGM (Medical & Health services) and head of the Sports department, RINL.

Shri Balakrishna Roy, President, Vizag Marathon Association (VMA) along with members of VMA, children, GMs, senior officials, Employees of RINL, Spouses, Youth, Young athletes also participated in the event with enthusiasm.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Shri DK Mohanty has expressed happiness in conducting such events and said that such events would help the employees and their family members young children to maintain, improve good Health, fitness and performance in all aspects of life. Sri DK Mohanty thanked the Vizag Marathon Association for coming forward and promoting the awareness among all classes of people in and around Ukkunagaram. Shri Balakrishna Rai, president VMA thanked RINL for helping and supporting the association to conduct such several major events which help in improving health, mindset and the lifestyle and promoting awareness about sound health to all.

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi ukkunagaram conducted a voluntary swachhta drive in the Ukkunagaram township as part of speacialcampaign3.0 which is being organised by RINL from 2nd to 31st October, 2023.

Several office bearers and a large number of youth (men and women) and ladies of Sri Sathya sai seva Samithi, Ukkunagaram actively participated in shramdan with the Jan Bhagidhari (community participation) spirit and cleaned the entire premises of Sector-2 shopping complex of Ukkunagaram and also the peripheral areas of Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Mandir in sector-2 of Ukkunagaram and removed lot of plastic waste from these two areas,
