10th International Day Of Yoga Celebrated With Fervor At RINL

Senior officials of RINL, school children, RINL employees and their family members have also actively participated in the function

RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam steel plant joined the nation in celebrating the 10th International Day of Yoga at Multipurpose hall of Ukkunagaram Club of Visakhapatnam steel plant, today.

The chief guest of the program Dr. Suresh Chandra Pandey, Director (Personnel) RINL Inaugurated the Yoga session by lighting the lamp along with other Directors and Independent Directors of RINL.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Suresh Chandra Pandey mentioned that RINL has been in the fore front in conducting Yoga classes regularly in the township since many years to ensure a better and healthier health to its employees and their family members. Dr. S.C. Pandey highlighted the need for everyone to practice Yoga daily to keep themselves physically and mentally fit.

Dr A P Naveen Kumar, GM (Medical & Health services) & Head of the department, Visakha Steel General Hospital (VSGH) advised the participants to make Yoga a way of life as it works like a holistic medicine towards a better health.

Under the guidance of renowned Yoga Guru Shri A. Kanaka Rao, Dr. Suresh Chandra Pandey, Director (Personnel), Shri CH S R V G K Ganesh, Dir (Finance), Shri G V N Prasad, Director (Commercial), RINL, Shri Sunil Kumar Hirani & Shri Ghanshyam Singh Patel, Independent Directors of RINL, Dr A P Naveen Kumar GM (Medical & Health services) & Head of the department, Visakha steel general hospital, GM (HR)- Sports participated in the yoga session.

Several senior officials of RINL, school children, RINL employees and their family members have also actively participated in large numbers with enthusiasm and passion.

A group of youngsters from Ukkunagaram township of RINL performed highly skilled yoga postures which impressed the audience.

In his message, Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL urged everyone to make Yoga a part of daily life and congratulated the Sports department of RINL for organizing International Yoga Day celebrations on a grand scale.
