Madhya Pradesh Offers Vast Employment Opportunities In Pharmaceutical Sector: CM Dr. Yadav

CM has discussion with members of Indian Drug Manufacturing Association

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has highlighted the vast employment opportunities within the state’s pharmaceutical sector, praising Madhya Pradesh’s Pharmaceutical Industry Policy, which spans from 2002 to 2023, as the best in the country. He emphasized the need to promote the pharmaceutical business in the state and noted that Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states in this field. Dr. Yadav also pointed out the potential for developing pharmaceutical clusters in the state and stressed the importance of making youth technically proficient for careers in the industry. During a discussion with members of the Indian Drug Manufacturing Association, he underscored the goal of providing quality and affordable medicines in Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the state government is committed to offering comprehensive support for industrial establishment. This includes providing land and subsidies to encourage industry growth. He emphasized that the government is responding swiftly to investor proposals. Additionally, Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of developing skills to support the state’s industrial advancement.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took information about developing Biotech Park. He said that the pharma sector should be promoted. In the meeting, the members suggested making the industries pollution free zone, developing phyto medicine, developing a new area near Meghnagar for pharmaceuticals. In the meeting, there was a discussion on further increasing the pharmacy business in Madhya Pradesh. Attracting investors and MSME policy were also discussed.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Sanjay Kumar Shukla, Principal Secretary Chief Minister’s Office and Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department Raghvendra Kumar Singh and Om Jain, Naresh Bhandari, Paresh Chawla, Dr. Darshan Kataria, Ajay Singh, Manish Sharma of Indian Drug Manufacturing Association were present.
