PNB Felicitates Its Hockey Players For Their Outstanding Contributions In Paris Olympics 2024
PNB announced recruitment of 25 players for the Junior Hockey Team for PNB Hockey Academy and 9 players for the Senior Hockey Team from across India
Punjab National Bank (PNB), nation’s leading public sector bank, felicitated two of its Hockey players who represented India in the Paris Olympics 2024 at their Corporate Office in Dwarka, Delhi. The ceremony celebrated the remarkable achievements of Abhishek and Sukhjeet Singh, both integral members of the Indian National Hockey Team and employees of PNB.
Both the players, Abhishek (Commonwealth Games 2022 Silver Medalist, Asian Games 2022 Gold Medalist, Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Gold Medalist) and Sukhjeet Singh (Commonwealth Games 2022 Silver Medalist, Asian Games 2022 Gold Medalist, Asian Champions Trophy 2023 and 2024 Gold Medalist), were awarded a cash incentive of Rs 25 lakhs, two additional increments and an out of turn promotion each as token of appreciation for their accomplishments.
The felicitation was held in the presence of PNB MD&CEO Atul Kumar Goel, PNB EDs – Binod Kumar, M. Paramasivam, Bibhu P. Mahapatra, CVO Raghvendra Kumar, CGM Sanjay Varshneya, and other senior officials of the Bank.
Reiterating the Bank’s commitment to sports, PNB CGM Sanjay Varshneya announced the recruitment of 25 players for the Junior Hockey Team for PNB Hockey Academy and 9 players for the Senior Hockey Team from across India.
