The fake WhatsApp group titled “85-HSBC Global Academy”, says HSBC
HSBC has said that – We would like to bring to your attention a recent fraudulent activity involving a fake WhatsApp group titled “85-HSBC Global Academy”. This group, created by an individual falsely depicts to be associated to Mr. Venugopal Manghat, CIO, an employee of HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited, is attempting to deceive the public. The person behind this impersonation is using the contact number 8008723938.
Please note that neither Mr. Venugopal Manghat, in his personal or professional capacity, nor HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited, its employees, Directors, or any affiliated group companies, are associated with this WhatsApp account or its activities. We want to make it clear that we disclaim any responsibility for any losses, damages, or liabilities arising from such fraudulent activities.
