Rajendra Prasad Shukla appointed as Director (Finance) of WCL

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Rajendra Prasad Shukla as Director (Finance) of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Coal.

Shukla has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. December 31, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, says a government order.

He is currently serving as General Manager in South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), also a Miniratna PSU under the Coal Ministry. With his new appointment, Shukla will replace SM Choudhary.
