Selection For The Post Of Chairman Of HPCL Scheduled Today
In all, six candidates are in fray for the top post
The selection process for the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is set to take place on November 13, 2024, under the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). The position has been vacant since August 31, 2024, following the retirement of Push Kumar Joshi. Currently, Rajneesh Narang, HPCL’s Director (Finance), has been serving as the acting CMD since September 1, 2024.
Several high-ranking candidates are in the running, bringing diverse expertise from various public sector undertakings:
- Arvind Kumar – Director (Refinery) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)
- Rajneesh Narang – Director (Finance) at HPCL, also holding the additional charge of CMD
- Amit Garg – Director (Marketing) at HPCL
- Bharatan – Executive Director at HPCL
- K K Chatiwal – Managing Director at Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL)
- Sukhmal Jain – Executive Director at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)
