The pensioners of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble MLA Gazuwaka and State President of Telugu Desam, Palla Srinivasa Rao, for his invaluable support in ensuring higher pensions for RINL pensioners.
A delegation of RINL pensioners represented by Vasa Srinivasa Murthy, D. Kumara Swamy, Dwaram Swamy, Duddu Srinivas and JA Swamy personally met Palla Srinivasa Rao Garu today at his residence and conveyed their profound appreciation for his dedicated efforts in addressing their concerns and securing a favorable outcome. They also extended their gratitude on behalf of their families, recognizing the significant positive impact Palla Srinivasa Rao’s intervention has had on their financial security and well-being.
It may be recalled that the RINL, Vizag Steel higher pension aspirants had deposited ₹410 crores more than 15 months ago in response to the demand notices issued by the local field office of EPFO for the sanction of higher pensions in terms of the judgment of the Apex Court. The Pensioners had approached various grievance mechanisms including MLA Palla Srinivas who has earnestly pursued with the authorities concerned for resolution of their issues.
The RINL pensioners acknowledged Palla Srinivasa Rao’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of RINL employees and retirees. His proactive role in championing their cause has provided much-needed relief to numerous pensioners and their families, ensuring that they receive their rightful entitlements.
The RINL fraternity remains deeply appreciative of his leadership and support in safeguarding the interests of RINL retired employees, reaffirming their confidence in his continued advocacy for the betterment of workers and pensioners alike.
