Abhay Kumar Srivastava, Executive Director, Head of Project of NTPC Unchahar, conducted an inspection visit to the Sankalp De-addiction and Healthcare Centre in Raebareli. The centre is being operated under NTPC Limited’s CSR initiative, in collaboration with the Society for Voluntary Action and Research (SVAR).
During the visit, Srivastava interacted with the medical and paramedical staff and reviewed the activities carried out over the past three months. He also engaged in conversations with patients admitted at the centre and obtained detailed updates regarding their treatment from the attending doctors.
On this occasion, the patients presented handmade greeting cards as a token of gratitude.
This OPD-based, 15-bed facility offers free medical treatment, rehabilitation, counselling, and therapy services to individuals battling addiction. So far, the centre has extended consultation and treatment to nearly 1,200 patients, reflecting its extensive outreach and impact.
This initiative underscores NTPC’s unwavering commitment to improving community health and enhancing the quality of life in the Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh.
