BHEL Reports Robust Revenue Growth And Record Order Inflows In FY 2024–25

BHEL retained its dominant position in the power sector by bagging orders worth ₹81,349 crore

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), India’s leading engineering and manufacturing company in the energy and infrastructure space, has reported a provisional and unaudited revenue of ₹27,350 crore for the financial year 2024–25, reflecting a strong year-on-year growth of approximately 19%.

The company achieved a historic milestone by securing its highest-ever order inflows of ₹92,534 crore during the year. This remarkable performance has taken BHEL’s total order book to ₹1,95,922 crore as of March 31, 2025.

  • Power Sector Leadership: BHEL retained its dominant position in the power sector by bagging orders worth ₹81,349 crore.
  • Diversified Industrial Growth: The industrial segment contributed ₹11,185 crore in fresh orders, underlining the company’s expanding footprint in transportation, defence, process industries, and industrial equipment.
  • Strong Execution: The company commissioned/synchronised 8.1 GW of power capacity, reaffirming its focus on timely project delivery and operational efficiency.

With strong revenue growth, a robust order pipeline, and an all-time high order book, BHEL is well-poised for continued success in FY 2025–26.
