Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Flags Off “Rishikesh To Chardham Yatra 2025”
CM lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership in accelerating the reconstruction of Kedarnath and the Badrinath Master Plan

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday inaugurated the “Rishikesh to Chardham Yatra 2025” at the ISBT, Rishikesh, in a ceremony organized by the Joint Rotation Yatra Management Committee. The Chief Minister flagged off 10 buses carrying devotees and extended his warm wishes for their spiritual journey.

Welcoming the pilgrims, CM Dhami prayed for the blessings of Baba Kedar, Badrivishal, Maa Gangotri, and Maa Yamunotri for a safe and fulfilling yatra. Expressing confidence, he said this year’s Chardham Yatra would surpass all previous records. He emphasized the state government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and memorable experience for every devotee.

Highlighting the economic and social importance of the Yatra, CM Dhami noted that it generates significant employment in the region. He assured that all necessary facilities are being arranged for the pilgrims and urged them to support the government’s efforts in maintaining cleanliness and preserving the sanctity of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

He also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in accelerating the reconstruction of Kedarnath and the Badrinath Master Plan. The upcoming ropeway from Gaurikund to Kedarnath and the All Weather Road have greatly enhanced travel convenience for pilgrims, he added.

The Chief Minister commended the Joint Rotation Yatra Management Committee for its role in assisting devotees during the Yatra.
