Foreign Guests Laud Travel Management During Char Dham Yatra

Efficient Registration and Health Facilities at Rishikesh Transit Camp Appreciated

The ongoing Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is witnessing enthusiastic participation from not just domestic pilgrims, but also international devotees. Foreign visitors have lauded the travel management and hospitality extended to them at the Yatra Transit Camp in Rishikesh.

The Yatra Transit Camp, managed by the Chardham Yatra Administration Organization, is offering a seamless experience for pilgrims. Facilities such as registration, health check-ups, and free meals are being provided. Importantly, special arrangements, including dedicated registration counters, have been made for foreign pilgrims.

On June 4, Thomas, a pilgrim from Britain, visited the transit camp and praised the easy and informative registration process. He commended the clear guidance provided on the travel routes for the Char Dham Yatra.

Earlier, on May 30, a 17-member group from Taiwan arrived at the camp for their journey to Gangotri and Yamunotri Dhams. Many in the group were over 60 years old and expressed their appreciation for the pre-journey health check-ups conducted at the registration center.

Similarly, Russian nationals Rahul and Tushar undertook the Badrinath Yatra on May 19, while Canadian Rituraj Kalra and American Ravinder Bhatti also visited Badrinath. All praised the dedicated registration facilities for foreign nationals, the cleanliness, and the courteous behavior of local officials.

American residents Kulesh Karan and Devisha Kulesh Karan, who visited Gangotri and Badrinath, also appreciated the arrangements and administrative efforts in place.

So far, 8,486 foreign pilgrims have registered at the Rishikesh transit camp for the Char Dham Yatra. The government is making extensive efforts to ensure all pilgrims—both domestic and international—have a smooth and safe pilgrimage.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized that the administration has been directed to remain in alert mode throughout the Yatra to ensure a pleasant and secure experience for all visitors to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
