CIL And CMPFO’s Joint Initiative “PRAYAAS” Ensures Swift Resolution Of Pending Cases

Every case presented was resolved on the spot

Under the joint initiative “PRAYAAS”, Coal India Limited (CIL) and the Coal Mines Provident Fund Organization (CMPFO) have set an ambitious target to reduce all pending CMPF/Pension cases to zero. This proactive campaign reflects the unwavering commitment of both organizations to safeguarding the welfare of employees and their dependents.

In continuation of this initiative, a significant settlement meeting was organized on 25th June 2025 at Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Ranchi. The event witnessed the active participation of key officials, including Pankaj Kumar (Regional Commissioner, CMPFO, Dhanbad), R. K. Sinha (Regional Commissioner, RI), and S. K. Prasad (Assistant Commissioner, CMPFO, RI).

The meeting was convened by Rajiv Ranjan Sharma, General Manager (HR/SS), CCL, and attended by several senior officials:

  • Pratul Kumar, GM (HR/NEE)
  • Tajwinder Singh, Sr. Manager (HR)
  • Seraj Ahmad, Assistant Manager (HR)
  • Archana Kumari, Sr. Manager (HR)
  • Anupama Bhagat, Sr. Officer, CMPF, CCL Ranchi along with other CMPF representatives.

A large number of workers and their family members attended the session, where they were encouraged to raise their long-pending issues. Notably, every case presented was resolved on the spot, bringing immediate relief to the beneficiaries.

CIL and CMPFO reiterated their commitment to the well-being of their workforce and pledged to continue organizing such resolution camps under the “PRAYAAS” initiative across different regions. The goal remains clear: no employee or dependent should be left unheard or unattended when it comes to their rightful benefits.
