In a major step towards enhancing passenger convenience and leveraging digital technology, Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw today launched the RailOne app during the 40th Foundation Day celebrations of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
Designed as a comprehensive, all-in-one mobile application, RailOne aims to transform the way passengers interact with Indian Railways by integrating multiple services under a single platform.
Key Features of RailOne:
- Unreserved and Platform Ticket Booking with a 3% discount
- Live Train Tracking
- Grievance Redressal Mechanism
- E-Catering, Porter Booking, and Last-Mile Taxi Services
- Single Sign-On using mPIN or biometric login

The RailOne app is available for download on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store. While reserved ticket booking will continue through IRCTC, RailOne has been authorized by IRCTC as a commercial partner, just like other integrated apps in the market.
One of the app’s standout features is its space-saving design, eliminating the need for multiple installations, while offering a unified and seamless user interface.

Speaking at the event, the Railway Minister congratulated the CRIS team for their contributions and urged them to strengthen the digital backbone of Indian Railways.
He also highlighted the progress in developing a modern Passenger Reservation System (PRS), expected to be launched by December 2025.
The upgraded PRS will be:
- Multilingual, Agile, and Scalable
- Capable of 1.5 lakh ticket bookings and 40 lakh enquiries per minute
- Equipped with advanced features like seat selection, fare calendar, and inclusive options for Divyangjan, students, and patients
