NALCO Working on Green Energy Expansion: CMD

National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a ‘Navratna’ PSU, continues to hold a key position in alumina and aluminium production in the country. The company is now also expanding its focus towards critical minerals.

NALCO’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Brijendra Pratap Singh, stated that the company is not only performing beyond its production capacity but is also actively working on green energy initiatives and future expansion plans.

In an exclusive interaction, Singh said, “If we look at NALCO’s current performance, all our units—especially the mines—are operating at nearly 500 percent of their rated capacity. Even this year, the targets we have set are above our rated capacity, and we are fully committed to achieving them.”
