Hindustan Copper Strengthens Employee Welfare with GPA Policy and Common Uniform

HCL has partnered with the State Bank of India, to launch a 'Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme' for all regular employees under its Corporate Salary Package

HCL Prioritizes Employee Welfare and Social Security

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Mines, has taken significant steps to safeguard the welfare of its employees and contractual workforce.

Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy (GPA):
HCL has introduced a GPA policy providing coverage of ₹20 lakh while on duty for every contractual person engaged in the Company.

Enhanced Coverage through Corporate Salary Package:
In collaboration with SBI, Indian Overseas Bank, and other partner banks, HCL has initiated Corporate Salary Package schemes that extend accident insurance coverage up to ₹40 lakh for contractual personnel at its units and offices.

₹1 Crore Insurance for Regular Employees:
For regular employees, HCL, in association with State Bank of India, has launched a Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme offering ₹1 crore accident insurance coverage (both on-duty and off-duty). This landmark welfare measure reflects HCL’s commitment to ensuring robust social security for its workforce.

HCL Introduces Common Uniform for All Employees

In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Hindustan Copper Limited has introduced a common uniform for all employees across its units and offices.
