IREDA Reports 41% Jump in Net Profit, 81% Growth in Loan Disbursements — Driving India’s Renewable Energy Transformation

Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, today lauded the remarkable Q2 FY26 performance of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), stating that India’s clean energy journey continues to gain strong momentum. He noted that IREDA’s consistent achievements are fostering sustainable growth, self-reliance, and innovation in the renewable energy sector, lighting up India’s green future with passion and purpose.

IREDA announced its audited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025, continuing its trajectory of robust growth and operational excellence.
The Board of Directors, in its meeting held today, approved the results showcasing significant year-on-year growth across key financial metrics. The company’s expanding loan book, rising net worth, and strong profitability underscore its strategic focus and commitment to India’s renewable energy ambitions.
Key Financial Highlights – Q2 FY 2025-26 vs Q2 FY 2024-25 (Standalone)
- Loan Sanctions: ₹21,408 crore vs ₹8,724 crore (↑145%)
- Loan Disbursements: ₹8,062 crore vs ₹4,462 crore (↑81%)
- Loan Book: ₹84,477 crore vs ₹64,564 crore (↑31%)
- Net Worth: ₹12,920 crore vs ₹9,336 crore (↑38%)
- Profit After Tax: ₹549 crore vs ₹388 crore (↑41%)
- Revenue from Operations: ₹2,057 crore vs ₹1,630 crore (↑26%)
Commenting on the results, Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director, IREDA, said: “IREDA’s consistent growth across quarters underscores our strategic focus and execution excellence.
