MOIL Achieves Record October Production, Highest Since Inception
The company produced 1.60 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in October 2025, marking a 9.1% increase compared to the corresponding period last year

MOIL Limited, the state-owned manganese ore mining company, has achieved its best-ever October production since inception. The company produced 1.60 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in October 2025, marking a 9.1% increase compared to the corresponding period last year (CPLY).
For the first seven months of FY 2025–26, MOIL recorded a total production of 11.04 lakh tonnes, reflecting an 8.5% growth over the same period in the previous financial year.
Reinforcing its commitment to resource expansion, MOIL also achieved its highest-ever exploratory core drilling of 57,275 meters during the April–October 2025 period.
Commenting on the performance, Ajit Kumar Saxena, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), MOIL, said,
“It is encouraging that the upward trend in production during the first seven months has been maintained. The MOIL team is fully geared up to register yet another impressive performance in the current year.”
The continued growth in production and exploration highlights MOIL’s sustained focus on operational excellence and resource development, reinforcing its leadership in India’s manganese mining sector.
