The meeting witnessed active participation from CMDs, Directors, and senior officials from across the public sector landscape.
The AGM highlighted SCOPE’s strategic initiatives and future vision to reinforce the role of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in building a Viksit Bharat.
Among the key initiatives showcased were:
- The launch and membership drive of the SCOPE Social Interaction Centre, aimed at fostering greater engagement among PSE professionals.
- Leadership development programs such as DAKSH and AGLP 2.0, designed to nurture future-fluent leaders for the evolving corporate and policy ecosystem.
- SCOPE’s instrumental contribution to the PSE ecosystem, exemplified by the prestigious SCOPE Awards, which recognize excellence and innovation in public sector performance.
The meeting further emphasized SCOPE’s active role in policy advocacy and its representation on key national and international platforms, including the ILO, OECD, EPFO, ESIC, and DTNBWED. Through these engagements, SCOPE continues to benchmark Indian PSEs with global best practices while advancing initiatives for sustainability and green transformation.
Reinforcing its commitment to align PSUs with India’s developmental vision, SCOPE outlined a forward-looking strategy focusing on:
- Effective policy advocacy to ensure conducive governance frameworks.
- Leadership and skill development to prepare public sector professionals for future challenges.
- Sustainable and green growth pathways, in collaboration with national and global knowledge partners.
- Expanding the reach of SCOPE Forum of Conciliation and Arbitration (SFCA) to strengthen the institutional support system for PSEs.
With these initiatives, SCOPE aims to further empower Public Sector Undertakings as key drivers in India’s journey toward becoming a Viksit Bharat — a developed and self-reliant nation.
