Hindi Essay Writing Competition Organized at Coal Bhawan Headquarters, BCCL
The competition centred on the theme “Official Language Policy of the Government of India – Achievements, Challenges and Future”

A Hindi essay writing competition was organised today at Coal Bhawan Headquarters of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), Dhanbad, under the aegis of the Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samiti (Narakas). The competition centred on the theme “Official Language Policy of the Government of India – Achievements, Challenges and Future.”
More than 30 participants from various Narakas member offices, including those from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), enthusiastically took part in the event. Officers, staff members, and official language representatives presented insightful perspectives on strengthening the use of Hindi as the official language.

The program commenced with a warm welcome of dignitaries and the traditional lighting of the lamp. The event saw the presence of notable officials, including DIG (CISF) Jitendra Kumar Tiwari, General Manager (Administration) Arpan Ghosh, and Deputy General Manager (Human Resources) Manish Mishra.

On this occasion, a meeting of the Sub-Committee of Narakas Dhanbad was also convened. Hindi officers from various central government offices in Dhanbad participated and discussed preparations for the upcoming Narakas meeting scheduled for 24 November. Extensive deliberations were held on strategies to further promote and strengthen the use of Hindi across departments.
The event was conducted by Secretary (Narakas) Udayveer Singh, who also delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts toward advancing the official language in government institutions.
