GAIL Completes Rectification of Damaged Gas Pipeline at RCF Trombay
Gas Supply Restored to MGL’s Wadala CGS
GAIL (India) Limited has successfully completed the rectification work on its damaged main gas pipeline located within the premises of Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF), Trombay. Following the repair, gas supply to Mahanagar Gas Limited’s (MGL) City Gate Station (CGS) at Wadala has been fully restored.
As a result, supply to all affected CNG stations across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai has resumed. Restoration of gas supply to impacted industrial and commercial consumers is currently underway and expected to stabilise shortly.
The disruption occurred due to third-party damage to GAIL’s primary gas supply pipeline inside the RCF compound, which temporarily affected gas flow to MGL’s Wadala CGS.
MGL has expressed gratitude to its customers for their patience and cooperation during the temporary interruption.
