RITES Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2025
All eligibility must be fulfilled as of 17 November 2025.
Educational Qualifications
- Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): Full-time 4-year Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech/B.Arch).
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): Full-time 3-year degree (BA/BBA/B.Com/B.Sc/BCA).
- Diploma Apprentice: Full-time 3-year Engineering Diploma.
- Trade Apprentice: ITI passed (NCVT/SCVT approved).
Minimum Marks Required
- General/EWS: 60%
- SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD: 50%
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years (as of 17.11.2025)
- No maximum age limit mentioned.
Other Eligibility Conditions
You are not eligible if:
- Your final results are still pending.
- You have already completed apprenticeship training earlier.
- You have 1 year or more of work experience after completing your qualification.
- For Degree/Diploma: You passed before 17.11.2020 (more than 5 years ago).
- The 5-year rule does not apply to ITI candidates.
RITES Apprentice Stipend 2025 – Salary Structure
Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend:

The selection process is simple and merit-based:
- No written exam
- No interview
Selection is based on:
- Marks obtained in Degree/Diploma/ITI
- If tie in marks → older candidate gets preference
