In his address, CMD Mr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal highlighted that Constitution Day serves to internalize the core principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, while also enhancing public awareness of democratic values. He noted that the Constitution is not only the foundation of governance but also inspires citizens to remain vigilant about their rights and duties.
Constitution Day has been celebrated annually since 2015, when the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment declared 26 November as Constitution Day to promote constitutional values among citizens. On this day, mass readings of the Preamble are organised across government offices, educational institutions, and public organisations nationwide to strengthen pride, respect, and loyalty toward the Constitution.
The programme concluded with all officers and employees pledging to uphold the unity, integrity, and democratic values of the nation in accordance with the spirit of the Constitution.
