K2 Infragen Ltd Secures ₹262 Crore Order from Indian Railways
The project has been awarded to K2 Infragen Ltd in joint venture with Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd


K2 Infragen Ltd, an engineering and core infrastructure company, has announced the receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a ₹262 crore project from Indian Railways. The project has been awarded by North Western Railway and pertains to the Jodhpur Division.
The scope of work includes design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 2×25 kV AC traction power system, covering 220/132/55 kV traction substations, sectioning posts (SPs), sub-sectioning posts (SSPs) and SCADA systems for the Luni (inclusive)–Bhildi (exclusive) double-line section.
The project has been awarded to K2 Infragen Ltd in joint venture with Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd, wherein K2 Infragen is the lead partner with a 74% stake in the JV.
This mega order marks a significant milestone for K2 Infragen and is expected to strengthen the company’s credentials as a long-term, bankable player in railway power infrastructure, while supporting electrification and capacity augmentation along a key rail corridor of North Western Railway.
