MSPA signed with TotalEnergies to enhance LNG sourcing flexibility
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has concluded a Master LNG Sale & Purchase Agreement (MSPA) with TotalEnergies Gas & Power Ltd (TEGPL) on January 27, 2026, enabling participation in ONGC’s future LNG sourcing opportunities for spot and short-term cargoes.
By onboarding a global LNG supplier with a substantive portfolio, ONGC has strengthened flexibility and resilience in its LNG procurement strategy, reinforcing its ability to secure diversified and competitive energy supplies.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of India Energy Week 2026, underscoring ONGC’s continued commitment to building a robust LNG supply chain as it advances its transformation into an integrated energy major.
