Sandeep S. Paranjape Takes Charge as Director (Technical/Project & Planning) at WCL
Paranjape was earlier serving as Area General Manager of the Sohagpur Area at South Eastern Coalfields Limited
Sandeep S. Paranjape has assumed charge as Director (Technical/Project & Planning) of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited.
Before taking over this responsibility, Paranjape was serving as Area General Manager of the Sohagpur Area at South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL).
A graduate in Mining Engineering from Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College, Nagpur University, Paranjape brings more than three decades of extensive experience in the coal mining sector. Over the years, he has held several key operational and leadership roles across Coal India subsidiaries, contributing significantly to mine planning, production management, and project execution.
His appointment is expected to further strengthen WCL’s technical leadership and project planning capabilities at a crucial time for the coal sector.
