PESB Recommends K. Ravi as CMD of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited
In all, eight candidates appeared for the interview of the top post in this defence PSU
Public Sector headhunter, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), has recommended Mr Kota Ravi, currently Director (Operations) at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), for appointment as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of the defence public sector undertaking.
Mr Ravi brings decades of experience across aviation operations, manufacturing, and programme management within HAL. Over the years, he has played a key role in strengthening production capabilities and operational efficiencies across the company’s major manufacturing divisions.
With deep domain expertise in aircraft production, engine manufacturing, and platform integration, Mr Ravi is expected to provide strong strategic leadership at a crucial phase of HAL’s growth, as the company advances several flagship defence and aerospace programmes in alignment with India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
His appointment, subject to further approvals, is anticipated to reinforce HAL’s execution capabilities and support its expanding order book across fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, and systems integration.
